Do you have work-life balance?
Many people are in dual-income households, since the prevailing "norm" has shifted from the "bread-winner" model to the dual-income model. In such cases, many people have to work a full day at the office or job and then come Home to another full-time or part-time job of raising a Family. And Family responsibilities are not limited to raising children. Many working parents also have care-giving responsibilities for their parents and/or parents-in-law. All of these responsibilities can and often do lead to stress and lack of work-life balance, as well as the feeling of not meeting all responsibilities fully.

This article is the second in a series of three parts intended to provide some general knowledge about genealogy, tracing Family history, and introduce the reader to issues involving surname spelling variations and how they can be addressed through the research process.
Why does everyone in your Family spell its surname the same way? Just who decided upon the spelling anyway? One of the challenges genealogists and Family historians face is getting to the root of the surname they are researching. Respect for others is based on self-respect and is summed up in the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have
others do unto you. It is the value that makes the world a more decent and civilized place. People show respect in
many ways. They speak and act civilly–avoiding insults, cruel remarks and rude or crude language. They are
courteous and considerate of others, including Family members and friends, and care about their rights, beliefs
and well-being.
They treat others fairly and as individuals, regardless of race,
sex, age or ethnic group. They display tolerance for people who do not share their personal beliefs and likes–so long as those people do not harm others.
